Vans was founded to develop and market the first electronic database for Indian business fraternity. We made our first product VANS.COM with active participation of the Industry leaders in Publishing and consulting industry. This was the beginning of sector specific knowledge databases in India. This was followed by our full text online database VEL (Vans Electronic Library).
Following this monumental success in developing and marketing of knowledge databases in business arena, Vans ventured in the area of marketing of medical databases by launching OVID’s MEDLINE databases in 1995. Since then we have been expanding our reach by adding a slew of cutting edge databases in the area of R&D, Patents, Drug & Disease Information etc.
In year 2000 Vans added a new dimension to the customer services with initiation of Knowledge Process Outsourcing division. Today we offer our services in 3 distinct sectors:
